    This is the second time that I've read Kisscut. This is the author's second book and the second one in the Grant County series with Sara Linton and police chief Jeffrey Tollifer. Obviously I like the book a lot and so am reading it again. I won't go into story detail other than to state that it involves child pornography/5(). This book is very well written although extremely disturbing. It is a sad thing to read what some people subject children to in this world. Bravo to Karin Slaughter for putting the facts out there. This will allow sane people to be made aware of what goes on in the craziness of a world we now live in.

Blindsighted, NOT Kisscut- that's the next book and soon to be on my list once I've read what I'm currently reading- was a wonderfully written book. The characters were detailed, different, with dark secrets, interesting and very believable thoughts, heart, emotions and a conscious.

Thematically Kisscut was a difficult book to read because it dealt with the subjects of paedophilia, rape and sadism and it challenged my view of what to expect in the crime novel.
